Dr. Goska Nowak sees it as her privilege and responsibility to play a pivotal role in helping patients live healthier, longer lives.
"From an early age, I knew I wanted to become a dentist. Being also driven by a deep curiosity about the intricate ways our bodies function I studied medicine in Europe. I then moved to Canada to pursue my passion for dentistry. Now, with nearly 30 years of experience, I can’t imagine doing anything else. "
The relationships I’ve built with my patients over the years are truly rewarding. I deeply value the trust they place in me, knowing that I am fully committed to their health journey. It’s important to me that my patients feel heard, cared for, and confident in the level of expertise they receive—the same level of care I would expect for my own family. My goal is to ensure they leave feeling informed, comfortable, and reassured that they’re receiving exceptional, personalized care backed by evidence-based science.
What excites me most about dentistry is the growing understanding of how oral health profoundly impacts overall health and well-being. Early intervention and addressing the root cause of dental issues often result in less invasive treatments and more predictable, long-term outcomes—not just for oral health, but for the whole body.
As a dentist, I see it as my privilege and responsibility to play a pivotal role in helping patients live healthier, longer lives. After earning my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1997, I moved to Calgary and spent nearly two decades growing my downtown dental practice. In 2024, I joined Dr. Craig Young at Orijin Dental, where we focus on delivering personalized, precise, and predictable care, integrating advancements in functional dentistry and medical periodontal science.
Over the years, I’ve trained at North America’s most prestigious dental institutions, including the Kois Center in Seattle and the Spear Education Center in Scottsdale. My expertise ranges from complex aesthetic and smile design to implant restoration and comprehensive preventive and reconstructive dentistry. I’m committed to continuous learning and regularly attend courses to stay at the forefront of dental advancements.
Outside of the office, I find balance through spending time in nature, camping and hiking with my husband of 35 years and our son. I’m also an avid fitness enthusiast, and I prioritize daily meditation and personal growth. I believe that by creating balance and flow in our lives, we not only experience more joy but are also better equipped to serve others.
